Claire discovered her thumb last night. Wonder if it will stick? I've had a thumb sucker and a binkie boy, not sure which I prefer??

Oh, a potential thumb sucker - such a cute habit when they're tiny, but it becomes un-cute before you know it! Rebecca found her thumb at 4 months old. (I had no idea they could start that late!) I prefer the binkie, because it's pretty difficult to lose a thumb. Rebecca's almost three, and when I tell her, "Don't suck your thumb," she replies, "But I love to." My sympathies. :-)
Coming from a dentist's wife, I'll say binkie is much better. Jameson will suck his thumb, fingers, and even his toes! - so I'm trying to keep him plugged with the binkie to break the habit of the others. We'll see if it works.
I love thumb suckers. Kenzi sucked hers and she was the BEST baby. I loved that she could take care of herself in the middle of the night. Plus there is some great stuff to put on it that made her stop in one day. I don't know...good luck.
