It's GREAT to be 8!!
I can hardly believe my first born is already 8. This is a day she has talked about since she was 5 and first learned about baptism in primary. It could not have been more perfect! We had SO much of our dear family and friends present. Abby looked beautiful in her white dress and was definitely glowing! I am continually amazed that this sweet, (nearly) perfect girl is MY daughter! Oh, how I LOVE her!

Kevin and I ate lunch with Abby and all her classmates. Abby was so excited that they were having one of her favorite meals for her birthday (Hamburgers). She just couldn't believe her luck!

She has been saving her money for months to get her ears peirced. We went to Walmart (FYI it is only $10 there) and she was pleasantly surprised that she had so much money left to spend :) She even offered to buy our lunch!
I am one BLESSED mom!
P.S. I wish I would have taken more pictures of this weekend, if you took any will you please send them to me? I want to make Abby a Baptism book so she will never forget this special day!

Her dress is so cute!! Isn't it sad how fast they grow up? Looks like it was a good weekend:)
