Lost Tooth

Abby's front tooth has been lose for a good 4 months now.  We have encouraged her like crazy to wiggle it and get it out.  She has been very conservative with her wiggling and would kind of freak if anyone touched it too hard.

Sunday, she came up to me with a pair of pliers.   She said she wanted me to pull it out.  I was SHOCKED! This is so not Abby.  She is our little drama queen and not the toughest girl we've ever met. I told her to lay down.  I rubbed a little baby Ambesol on it, got a good grip with the pliers.....and voila...it was OUT!
I still can't believe she let me do it.  She must have really wanted that tooth fairy visit!

What a BRAVE girl!

I guess I learned something from my 7 years as a Dental Assistant :)  Ha Ha!

Are those tears glistening in her eyes? I'm sure if they are they are now tears of joy. Way to go Abby! I hope that tooth fairy came through for you. You were very brave.

Oh, the cutest picture of Abby and her tooth. That is quite the story. I give you props for being brave too! I could never do that with pliers! That stinks about the flash flood. Hope you can get cleaned up soon. Can you believe school starts in 2 weeks?! EEKS.

I wanted to pull that thing out when we were at Zion Ponderosa. Kenna has 3 in her mouth right now that she won't let me touch. Maybe I'll send her to your house with some pliers.
