FALL BREAK!!

It is my Fall break.  I feel like I finally have a minute to breath.  I am really enjoying school, but...18 credits is as crazy as it sounds!!  WOWSA!

Here are a few things I've discovered so far...

  • The English language is VERY complex!
  • There is a lot involved in learning to read.
  • There is a lot involved in teaching reading.
  • Teachers work WAY harder than you could ever imagine!
  • Kindergarten is CRAZY (but, fun)!!
  • Teachers work WAY harder than you could ever imagine!  Seriously!!!

I have not taken a single picture since school started.  Lori came to visit us a couple months ago and I just realized I never posted these super cute pics of the kids.
Poor Trent was struggling in the picture department that day.  This is the best shot I got of him.

English IS so complex. And it is crazy that you are taking 18 credits. I'm glad you are getting a little break. I think about you often and how hard it would be to be in school while being a mother. You are awesome...enjoy your long weekend.

I'm wishing you a looong weekend and I'm wishing that someday you could teach one of my kids.

Yea for breaks! English is tricky and you can't really appreciate it's craziness until you learn another language or try to teach someone to read. Aren't you glad it's your first language!?! Having taught 3 1/2 kids how to read - it has many rewards. You can't give many gifts greater than the gift of reading. Good luck!
